Happy to finally found an indien restaurant who make their food with heart.

Delivery was great! Order via WhatsApp and get an answer directly! Food came in 35 minutes on a Sunday. Supplier was super friendly

We were all happy! The taste was fantastic! We also had a delicious starter platter! Which we were already fed up with! Our friends come from the islands and wish that they could eat as delicious as they did at himalaya!

Super tasty, nice service. Mostly very well attended. On our last visit we waited over an hour for our food, hence a star deduction.

We were there on Saturday evening and luckily got a table. The service staff greeted us in a friendly manner and asked us to wait a moment and that they would organize a table for us. Despite that it was so full we didn't have to wait long for the food. The service staff were very special! We were in good hands. Praise to the kitchen

Delicious food and at good prices, places are also quite cozy. Have also ordered from there quite a few times over time.

We were at the buffet. The selection was large and all the dishes were not too spicy and very tasty. Despite the Corona regulation, everything is very well organized. We can only recommend the Himalayas and will be happy to come back.

My favorite Indian. Very tasty food and super friendly staff. Good selection of dishes - also vegetarian. And for those who have not yet found their favorite dish, there is either a "normal" or a purely vegetarian buffet once a month.

One of the best Indian restaurants I know. We have been guests since opening and have only good things to say. The food, the ambience and the way you deal with guests is just great.

We recommend. We were allowed to enjoy the buffet. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. Good and large selection. The service was good and attentive. Looking forward to the next time.

Really more than 5 stars !! The staff is super friendly and took care of all of our special requests! My daughter is lactose intolerant. Then the waitress said that they make the food fresh and therefore can prepare the whole thing with coconut milk! My daughter was more than happy !!

My friends, all Indians, and I wanted to have dinner at the Greek restaurant next door first. Because it was full there we went on to the Himalayas. The restaurant was only partially full and a bit questionable, but we stayed because of the good reviews. A young waiter served us relatively quickly and nicely. My dish was fine, but my friends' dishes were flavourful, colored, and sugary. When we wanted to pay another elderly waiter came, probably the owner, who reacted rude to our feedback. That was one of my worst experiences in a restaurant in Germany.

Nowhere close to Indian Authentic food.

Some good reviews on Google drew us to this place, but the service and the food here is anything but good. Mediocre at best. We had a tasteless, artificially coloured bland, red mess called Tikka Masala. Palak Paneer basically was Rahmspinat with some pieces of cheese, not even remotely close to the original dish. Naan bread was undercooked and the Lassi was one-dimensional blended Yoghurt. The cherry on top of the cake was the server‘s reaction to our feedback. On being asked whether we liked what we were served, we promptly gave an honest feedback. Instead of accepting our constructive criticism of the food, the server got defensive, told us how wrong we were and threw some nasty, sarcastic comments in our direction. If you’re looking for at least decent( if not authentic )Indian food, look for a different option.

Just finished eating. Totally delicious and flavorful. The waiting time was reasonable. Nice and friendly service. Very comfortable. We would love to come back.

It was really good!! We ate Aloo Gobi with naan bread. And not too expensive for the vegetarian food. Maybe the one with meat is a bit more pricy but it is normal!

Delicious Indian food. We had the starter plate for 2 people, which is a mix of fried meats and veggie. The star is by far the selection of chutneys and sauces that come with. For main, the butter lamb was great, the tika masala chicken a bit dry. Very generous portions. Restaurant also has a little back yard with 4-5 tables, but it is mostly indoor.

We had the pleasure of eating at the Himalayan restaurant this evening. This is a really nice restaurant with service minded and courteous staff who have a lot of knowledge about the different ingredients and spices in the different dishes and who take the time to tell which dishes are right for each other. The dishes on the menu are in every respect authentic to Indian cuisine and the food is prepared with lots of care, fresh ingredients and the quality is simply top notch! We will definitely come there again! PS: Don't miss the mango lassie!

Amazing Indian food and friendly staff!

Ambiance was good, Food was average. The menu said king prawn biryani, but what we got was double cooked boiled shrimps which we unedible in the biryani. wasted.
